My work experience in leading schools has emphasized the importance of creating partnerships with students, educators, families and our Lynwood community. I have also made it a goal to collaborate with colleges, universities, businesses, and community organizations that will provide our students the opportunity to witness their talents grow in a global society.  I value the importance of collaborating to expand early college awareness, multilingual education, socio-emotional development, student leadership, youth advocacy and  civic engagement. 

As an educator, I understand the responsibility of becoming a School Board member. With this understanding, I will  ensure all students in Lynwood have access to a rigorous and equitable education that will prepare them to fulfill their life aspirations equipping them with College, Career and Life skills needed to participate fully as members of their community.  Students need leaders that believe in them and in their potential. I will use my voice to speak up for ALL students and advance educational excellence in all Lynwood schools.  I believe in collective leadership, one that engages students, educators, families and members of the Lynwood community to accelate social, emotional and academic progress of our students, while expanding their world experiences through civic engagement. With high expectations and working together we will accelerate academic progress and expand opportunities for all students.
